An opened hard drive under tweezers, the stacked platters and read arm exposed on a clean bench

Drive acting up? Stop using it.

If a drive is failing, every extra hour it runs makes the recovery harder. Power it down and get it to me.

I can pull your files off a failing drive and move them onto a new one. Photos, documents, whatever's on there that you can't replace.

How it actually works. I won't know what you're dealing with until I pull the drive and hook it up to my own equipment. If it's recognized, I can usually get your files off it and onto a new drive. If it isn't, it needs a cleanroom recovery and I have to send it out — that costs considerably more. You'll know which one you're looking at before I go any further.
