About
I bought my first computer in 1982 and voided the warranty within six months upgrading it.
That's more or less how the whole thing has gone since.
I interned at a computer store in 1986. In the nineties I went to college for electronic engineering with computer repair support, and ended up teaching the hard drive installation class. I've been working on IBM compatibles since 1986 — DOS, every version of Windows, and Linux.
Virus, malware and ransomware removal. Upgrades. Repairs. Data recovery. Custom builds. And when it isn't the computer at all, networking, printers and the Wi-Fi that won't reach the back bedroom.
No storefront. No bench fee.
I don't have a shop, which means I don't have shop overhead — and that shows up in what I charge. It also means you deal with me directly, start to finish. Nobody hands your laptop to a technician in the back.
I'm in the Monte Ne area, on the outskirts of Rogers, and I work all over Northwest Arkansas.
