I bought my first computer in 1982 and voided the warranty inside six months upgrading it. Interned at a computer store in 1986, then studied electronic engineering in the nineties — and ended up teaching the hard drive installation class.
DOS through every version of Windows, and Linux. There's not much I haven't seen come across the bench.
